JMHO -
Usually you get what you pay for. The OEM tail light sucks huge and mostly useless to try to improve it by flashing. I would recommend the new Hyper Lite LED system. Tis vastly superior to all others I have tried.

Flashing lights is an excellent way to have yourself/bike noticed plus with the other flashing lights looks pretty good and effective.

Not sure of your point, Amigo, but a flashing light is always good for notice; however, flashing a very poor light - not so much.

I was merely attempting to point out something else to be considered that I feel provides superior cage recognition.
