My 8700 Evo 2 comes with the same connector any halogen light has, so you literally just replace the reflector with clips, don't require any tools beyond a screwdriver, and then plug in the cable into the existing connector and you're done. Basically as easy as replacing the headlight bulb in the original.

I believe the 8630 Evo model has a different connector though, for some reason. If so you either need to replace the connector on the bike cable - or (what I'd probably do) cut off both connectors and splice the three cables together using Posilocks. And then probably shrinktube over the posilock, but that's optional.

See the website says something about having a 'Delphi connector'. Whatever one of those may be. Probably not beyond the wit of man to work out how to get it working.

Delphi makes a bunch, not sure which specific variant they have on those. There are tons of connectors on the Rocket (under the tank etc) that may well be Delphi branded too - but either way you need a Delphi connector added on the bike or else you do away with connectors and just wire the cables together directly. Not at all difficult, that's how I wired up my new fog lights. Just slashed the connector off the lamp, slashed the cables in the lamp housing and connected them up with Posilocks. Very easy and a very secure fit, worked perfectly.

Gives a "semi-permanent" connection, which is fine since LED's should last the lifetime of the bike, basically, tens of thousands of hours.

This is a schematic of the Delphi connector required on the bike side. The light has the male connector. Whereas the standard H4 only has a high beam, low beam and ground connector, this 6 wire connector should support the DRL ring as well as the high and low beam functions.

New model Daymakers can be purchased for $320 each.

I believe Autobarn sell the JW speakers or at least they did back when I bought mine.

I actually bought mine from a guy called Chris from tlg-auto.com and received them as promised and in good time.

After I received them I discovered autobarn was a distributor and and were cheaper if id gone that route.

My Understanding is the daymakers are cheaper if you just go into your local harley shop.

As far as I know the Daymakers are still the older generation, so it's not an apples to apples comparision, the new Evo should through more light, and further.

In the US, the 5-3/4" Daymakers are 2nd generation. @Joesmoe has the 1st gen models and they are definitely different than the current offerings.

Not trying to say that they are better than the 8630 Evo. Just providing info.

So replace the H4 connector, remove the position light connector and wire the leads into the appropriate place in the Delphi connector. Should be doable.
