for what it is worth if you use the two Harley Daymakers you wont have to install the eastern beaver. and with the daymakers you should not have to worry about your ignition switch.
I've not seen the full spec's but I'll bet that on high beam the HARLEY DAYMAKERS draw about as many amps as a halogen bulb. Do the relay thing as JW speaker STRONGLY recommend that you wire in their lights via a relay anyway.
Why bother? - The Truck-Lite Phase 7 beam pattern is better and they cost 50% less. I have one in my Guzzi.
And - no bones - I'd be talking to Rivera Primo if I was in the USA as well. They use the (ime) very excellent CREE XM-L family of chips used in most BRIGHT torches.
They were made to fit just about any M/C bucket - whereas the Speaker and Truck-lite were originally aimed at Trucks and offroaders - they happen to fit bikes.
The Speaker and Truck-Lite use proper automotive chips - not quite as bright per watt but supposedly more vibration resistant.
I think you and Tony should get together and compare your JW Speaker with his Daymakers.
At what distances and widths can you each recognize a dark dressed person?
