Keyless Ignition

I hadn't seen it, but it looks like it should do the job. However, it is a bit more expensive than what I did, but it is less expensive than some other RFID systems that are around.
Just found these in Bulgaria. http://shop.teracom-bg.com/product/76/locky-bp.html. Must admit I'm tempted to get 2 or 3 and some keyfobs. I've loads of relays lying about. Be **** fine to have one fob that would switch all 3 bikes.

Me Likey !!!
The problem is they're in BULGARIA. I've had some recent issues with Bulgarians promising the undeliverable - so I'm a bit wary. But I'll SKYPE them from work a bit later on. Postage is **** cheap - but fecking slow though. Pay extra and get EMS - ALWAYS.

Well I had a good long chat with them this morning (well, I was at work - and bored stiff) - They were interested and forthcoming about shipping issues.

So then. How many bike wiring looms do I want to wreck? 1, 2, 3? decisions decisions ............

Ideally of course the best thing would be a system that switched on when you drew near and off when you walked away - mmmmmmmmmm

Being RFID they should be near impossible to read - these are proximity keys - about 3-5cm.

Long range systems start to get a little more expensive - http://rss-systems.de/ .

The teracom site is not all that easy to navigate - it transpires that there's basically one model - Locky-B which is configurable to BP,BF.BT modes. Software is on their site - but only the Bulgarian part. It's now on my laptop.

Splicing :eek3:<shudder> - this requires a barbagris sub-loom solution . Everything has to be reversible.

Can you source OEM connectors?
It's just a case of trawling the web to find some that fit. I found compatible headlight harness connectors easy enough (OK they're white not black). I've not looked at the Triumph switch connectors yet.

What does the OEM connector look like? - Nice close up hi-res pictures pls.

The motogadget is MUCH tidier - it's smaller and sealed.

Still trying to find a source to purchase them from.

I now have some TERACOM units. I have some other stuff to do under the tank (Wiring in DRL's) - So it's time to have a look.
