Yo fellas…. Just went
For a strap and the key and battery symbols came up on the instrument panel in orange.. I’m guessing that means change the fob battery? Can anyone confirm?

My bike is 2 years old now, and still using the same battery when purchased.
Mine is showing key fob out of range many times while out riding, yet i keep it in the same front
left pocket all the time. I tried changing the battery, but it still shows out of range most of the time.

Yeah me too, but never seen the battery symbol beside it as well, since I changed my key to jacket top left pocket mine hasn’t come up , only yesterday with the battery symbol.

If I leave my 'grip warmers' on for too long I get the low battery symbol. I dial the warmer from 3 to 1 (hot to warm) and it goes out after 5 to 10 minutes. Evidentially it puts a big strain on the battery. This has happened 4 times in the last year. I have been on the freeway at speed or over so the RPM's were always up. I don't know why this happens although I believe I read in the handbook that it happens in neutral some times with the warmers on. I had the dealer check the battery twice so far and all is good. I have only really had a slight problem starting it in cold weather one time but it started on the third attempt.

How do you find the handwarmers? I’ve only ever used them once it puts out a different kind of heat not like sitting around the campfire LOL I find the cold parts are the fingertips which makes the handwarmers useless to me. Plus it never gets that cold where I live on the most easterly point of Australia

Glad Triumph put 3 settings on the grip heaters.. They are so hot on Hi, even with gloves on, its painful. Low setting is perfect.

Yes the tops of my fingers do get cold on long hauls. I have two pair of heavy duty gauntlets that are perfect for 50 or so miles at 40 degrees. After that the tops of my hands get increasingly cold as do my feet although slightly but not so bad I have to stop to warm them, just uncomfortably cold. The hand warmers do help and keep the Falange's from going numb but the tops, not at all. I don't do heated gloves but in reality in very cold 40 degree (that's cold here in cali so don't hate) at 75 mph heated gloves may help just not for me though. I'm sure there are $400.00 gloves that will do better but the $50.00 ones I have are pretty decent and they have good protection if I tumble off the bike. I'm slowly but surely becoming dressed like a power ranger and I said I would never do it but I don't bounce like I use to so it is what it is.

My fob triggers the light on occasion, even after replacing the battery. Always in the left front pants pocket. I just move it around in my pocket a little when it happens and the warning disappears. He's a finicky fella.

Did you try changing fob location? It conflicts with phones, other blue tooth devices.
