Just got dynoed, 130 hp does not impress me

I am amazed at my mileage. I just guessed at the 34 number. I just filled up and I got 45.75 MPG. I had 238 on the trip meter and I put in 5.2 gallons. I couldn't believe it. I just reset everything again to double check and it looks like that is right. I have over 235 miles on it and it still says I have 41 miles left on the gage. Going to fill up next ride and recheck it. That is probably right since I have been filling up sooner and never put more that 3.5 gallons in. ****ing amazing.
There ain't an R3 that ever got 45 miles to a gallon .... something must be off.

Glad to hear it . With triple filters and the Jardines, it is just making it easier for the beast to breath in and breath out in addition to the weight loss? The tune is good A/F wise?

OK, I lied. I've currently got 229 on the trip meter and it says 41 miles to go on the gage. When I fill up later, I check it again. i have a good tune for the A/F. I'm telling you I get great mileage. Believe it or not. I really don't have a reason to make this **** up. Ken, next ride we make, I'll let you verify it.
My 904 Bonnie got better mileage after the engine upgrades also. I do know it's getting better mileage now than before. If it holds 5.2 gallons again, right now I'ld be getting 44 MPG.

Frank, What is the speedo correction at in your tune??? You may have it set to high. Just a thought.

don't remember. Need to ask Bruce. I thought this was done early on.
Are you thinking this is the reason for my fictisous mpg? Like my odometer isn't accurate?
I'll see you this weekend on the ride. I'll gas up there and the bet is on.
Course, I might be wearing my new suit. Bwa ha ha ha.

OK, let me eat a little crow here.lol
I'm going to blame this on my riding glasses. I wear trifocals normally.
The agentlemen who does my tunes went for a ride with us today and went trrough all of the BS abouat let's set our trip meters and He'ls set his GPS to document this phenominum.
Upon arriving at our first destination for breakfast, I'm baragging about the mileage again. My tuner comes over and resets my clockworks. Hey, don't mess with the odometer. He said he was going to put ot on miles instead of km's. BWaaaaaa ha ha ha ha
I don't feel too stupid. Only good thing is, my bike has less miles on it than I thought. Bwa ha ha ha ha

Let the thrashing begin.lol

Well it was nice while it lasted, better you find out now than in the middle of a road trip.
