Just bought my second Rocket III and think I stole it

I believe '09 was the last year for the Classic. Roadsters were not introduced until 2010. Before that the base Rocket was referred to by some as the Standard. I actually preferred those to the Roadster because the pegs were farther forward.

In any event, congrats on your purchase.

I could be wrong. It has the floorboards, Two headlights and I assumed it was the Classic? Maybe it is a roadster someone added the boards to? I will try to get pics up today. I am sure it is not the Touring though.
Thanks. I added a pic and added some more to the media section. I changed the oil and rear end fluids today and took a short spin. I have put about 100-150 miles on it, but the tires are 11 years old, so I am waiting until the new ones get here to go much farther.

Just looked at the pic in your original post and, yes, she's a beaut with the touring saddle/passenger backrest. Yup, you stole it. Love stories like this though.

There is always a certain level of risk with repos but with that low a mileage, not much could go wrong.

Did I mention that you stole it? :)

Thanks. I couldn't believe they dropped that low, but the season is winding down here. There are several more pics in my media showing the condition. The overall condition looks like it was treated well, and the fluids while dirty, had no metal in them.

I see you are VFW. Thank you for your service. I enlisted and missed Vietnam by a couple of years and never had to go to war. I have great respect for those who did.
