I bought THIS about 18 months ago. Fully charged it, put it in my Sissy Bar Bag and forgot about it. This past Wednesday I took the bike out and when I got back, shut it off with the kickstand (as per) but forgot to shut the ignition off. Some time later I noticed, but it was way too late. I dragged out my regular booster but for some reason it didn't work. Then I remembered the little red box in my bag. Oh well I thought, I'll give it a try, fully expecting nothing. I connected the cables, turned on the ignition and pushed the starter. It fired up as if there were ten batteries connected! This is on a bike that I've been known to have cold starting issues with.
All I can say is, I was, and am., thoroughly impressed.

There are several models, which one do you have?

That would be useful info wouldn't it. PBJS12000-R

I modified the link accordingly

I was given a Jump and Go brand jump starter and like you just threw it in tool box and forgot. One morning 2 guys at work had dead batteries in their trucks, rather than moving trucks around we just tried it and it started both of them (5L F150) with no issues. I bought 1 to keep in saddle bag and have used it several times to start other bikes on rides. It is so much easier than trying to get cables hooked between 2 batteries.

I have the same model as the OP but the 1600ma version. I also have the very similar Anti-Gravity brand in the 1200ma version. Wonderful to have on hand when you're out in the middle of nowhere on your ATV or snowmobile... A helluva an asset at $100.

These things are pretty amazing...especially when you consider their size and weight. (small, and weighs very little) One day this last summer I arrived at work and unwittingly turned my key past "Lock" to a position on the ignition that leaves the lights on. I pulled it out of my saddle bag attached as directed and off I went. Mine came with a large selection of pigtails that had connecting ends for cell phones, mp3 players, what-have-you and on a 2 week trip I used it extensively to recharge these items at the end of the day.

A little pricey but in my opinion a worthy purchase. -Doug

I found it mush cheaper at Amazon:
They also have 16000 and 32000 models with more mAh for more moola.

Almost hard to believe it can start an engine with those tiny little wires ? I could see it kicking up the voltage. Would it work if the vehicles battery was flat dead ? Does it start right away or do you let the PowerAll charge the vehicles battery and then try to start ?

Not sure which model I bought, but it was one of the larger capacity ones they sell at the HD shop. Fits perfectly in my now empty stock air filter box, leaves enough room for phone, wallet, registration docs, a drink and some sun screen. Perfect sized R3 "trunK" lol.

The little things should be standard issue for all bikers!
