Jardines for the Roadster

Should be no problem. The only difference is the crossover is a little farther back for clearance. Don't have that problem on the STd R3. But, you can't put the Std on the Roadster.
Yes, they will work.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna have to look into this.
BTW I've never seen or heard a roadster in person.
How would you all describe the tone? In the mean time I'll try to find one to hear. Frank I'll pm you.

Just got them installed. The Jardines for the Roadster fit well and were a snap to install. The Heat shields with their hose clamps are another matter. Real pain in the ass to get right. Supposed to let the hi temp rtv set up for 24 hours.lol Couldn't wait to fire her up. I had Bruce throw in another 10% fuel across the board so I could take her to the dyno next week. Bike smelled filthy rich before I added the Jardines. They sound awesome and really bark when you blip the throttle. Great sound and about 50% louder than the TOR's. Definately doesn't seem rich now so there should be some good gains here.
Not having the BC, I was running the 3/4 inch taller version of the RU2780's with the ATS installed in the end of #2 cylinder. I went on and installed a set of the RU 1770's with pre socks and again installed the ATS in the end.
I'll get back with the Dyno #'s after we retune her.

Would love to hear a sound clip if possible. If one is looking for the weight savings and power gains, it is definitely the best way to go given the cost of the other options ie. Staintunes with crossover, or TORs with crossover. If one is OK with the looks and noise level, might as well go all the way to Jardines.

Hi Frank

Do I remember you posting before that you cut open the splitter box under the gearbox to see what was inside? If it was you, would it be possible to cut open the box with an angle grinder, , remove the innards, and weld it up again? Is it stainless?

I can't afford a new header but have the tORs so thought this might be a halfway house to remove some restrictions, and I'll spend my money on a dyno tune as I have Tune ecu already.

hope the Jars do what you want!
