thanks bob
let us know how new set up works
i find that after 30 years biking the old back aint what it used to be
should have done more research on seat options before purchasing
regards mike

I'm slowly making mods to my R3T. I just added a Kuryakyn tail bag to that small luggage rack behind the adjustable backrest. I really like it for $135. It will allow me to transport my camera gear, brown bag lunch and all sorts of groceries. LOL Unfortunately, shopping from a catalog can't tell you everything. I intended to put my helmet in there but it turns out the opening isn't big enough for my 3x Nolan. :{

looking good. Do the saddle bags hold a good bit of stuff?

No, they don't hold much at all. They're too narrow. Keep in mind I went to the R3T from a BMW R1200RT that has a huge trunk that holds two full face helmets. The Beemer's sidebag was big enough to hold one full face helmet.

Too bad, they look good tough. My leather ones hold a good deal of crap.

Good thing you didn't get a Victory Vision. Those bags couldn't hold my shoes and I only wear a size 10.. :eek: The R3T bags were much bigger, than the Vision's.. They are smaller than the Corbins I have, but they are bigger than the Harley hard bags..

I kinda like the bags on my r3t they are just big enough to take what I need for a day or two other than that I will take a bag with me. my leather bags on my last bike I could stretch a little but still had to take another bag with me, either way after all its not a car there is only so much we can carry on a bike every little bit helps

Bob,

Nice to see you posting again! Hope your situation has improved and/or become tolerable. Everywhere is seeing downturns. But to stay on topic, I like the looks of the bag. Perfect for a day trip!!!:cool:

Management at Intel keeps telling us there will be enough local transfer opportunities to absorb the 500 technicians affected. The clock is ticking and I'm not getting any younger. I turn 60 May 10th which gives me a 100% vested pension. My monthly income from that pension is $57 a month, before taxes, for life. :)
