Is the Rocket III for me? Hi from Canada!

Well, I guess you have found out the hard way that when you enter these forums, you check your love in at the door. I never read your original question as you have now removed it. But as to whether a Rocket is for you? Well, all I can say is take one for a test ride. Not just around the block, but stretch it's legs a little and open the throttle, but ease into it. Then see how it handles on a variety of exercises...try some curves and try some slow parking lot maneuvering. You will find that it handles a little different from other bikes, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Bottom line is you will either like it or you won't.

He is getting on quite well on the .com site, unfortunately (or fortunately) he must have realised that he approached things the wrong way here and amended his ways over there... Oh well

Just went over and took a look. Bit of a giggle really. He's still not done a scrap of research but of course is getting sensible answers because he didn't ask such stupid questions. The usual suspects are blowing their own trumpets, mostly sucking up to him and at least one person came pretty close to apologising for us (which is duly noted!).

He's not posted any pics of his own bike this time, presumably because even he's realised that you can't buy a bright yellow a Roadster. He did put up some pics of a modded Rocket with a blower on the side, which someone said was a turbo......

Phew, glad that's over.
