Is anybody having trouble with the LCD Gauge display not staying on a 2020 R3?

Thanks for your offer to help. I appreciate that.
I was out on the DGR ride out yesterday and it was a slow, start stop in the glare of the sun, so the engine was really getting hot and I therefore wasn't surprised to see my display begin to flicker and fizzle out to black, as soon as my right leg began to feel the heat from the headers.
That was it.....for the whole ride. No display. Just a black screen.
Every time it's happened, it's been the wrong time to film it on my phone and once the screen is black....well....it's just black. Nothing to film.
On the ride home from the run, i'm riding at a more 'normal' speed and the flow of air keeps the engine heat just nice. The screen is black from the start, but I have a sense that the engine is cool enough, so I pull over and turn the ignition off and on again. Bingo!......The display has fired up again and I ride home knowing what speed i'm doing etc....
Like you said....I too, hope the thing doesn't get worse over time.
If I can get to film anything worth filming, I will post it up here........ and maybe send you a copy via PM, if that's ok?

Keep in mind mine has a ton of miles on it too,

You could try some of this. Remove the cluster and stick this to the back

I've used it on a KTM Superduke and recently put some behind the header shields on the Rocket. It's really cut down the heat to the legs but it's starting to peel off the inside already. I gotta do some more playing around with it

Interesting suggestion. Thanks for your input.
I just had a look at what options are available in this field and came across this website:

Gold Reflective Heat Resistant Tape 2 Inch from Merlin Motorsport
