Intro

I assumed the Rocket engine would have Goldwing duration, but I've been uncertain.

Welcome to the site from new Jersey, Brad.

I'm 50 years in the saddle and purchased my R3 6 seasons ago. It took me about 2-3 months to fully understand the performance envelope and handling characteristics of this beast. Do the same and you'll enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

BTW, I'm just a smidge under 5'10", 180-185 lbs and I've never really encountered any problem with moving or controlling this bike that I haven't experienced with others.

Let this be your musical mantra... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PUMKPaIHY4

WELL stated!
I too mangled my left leg and ankle after daydreaming while at 25mph in a 15 mph curve.
Threw it over and the front wheel washed out on rumble strips carved into the center line.
Bold and underline added to your comments for emphasis . . .

Lol..I'll definitely have to take my time but I'm sure it wouldhelp to have your experience

Yeah..I could if the dealer didn't just email me that the Touring model he had just sold..I emailed him like a week ago, so there's no excuse for that.

Dude, that totally sucks. No excuse for selling a bike out from under you, when he knew he was getting the sale. Bad form!

Welcome mate from the Sth Coast of NSW, Australia. Nothing I can say will convince you but I reckon if youve taken the time to post on this R3 owners forum, you've alteady made up your mind..cmon..tell the truth
