Hi All
Managed to fit some gauges to monitor my engines oil pressure ,oil temp ,air/fuel ratio and exhaust gas temp, hardest one was the oil temp/pressure senders but with the help of my scrap head i was able to fabricate one the bench and was able to check i still had oil flowing where it should after i made up a new banjo bolt! ,in the photo you will see i kept the low pressure switch and grafted the pressure sensor on the end.

Oil temp sensor i removed chrome cover from the dip stick and bored out bung ,made a alloy adaptor and pressed thro the bung and sealed cable with a grommet.

nice.. no boost gauge?

do you use pods or just the panel?
these badboys are a nice option, good quality but expensive.
you'd need these too

Great job!

The trouble with a boost gauge is that you never see a maximum reading 'cos you're too busy hanging on and being terrified at the time...............

Wow! Nice work !

I love gauges - one reason I fell in love with Jaguars as my father had a succession of Mark 2s, and I drooled as a teenager over the XKE and saw as an exoticar the Series 3 E-Type in the showroom in 1971. I would later own two XKEs and one Series 3. All had those gorgeous Smiths instruments.

Any chance you'd take orders ? I'd love to have clock, RPM, oil pressure, and gear position.
