Impossible to lay a rocket down!

"LAYING IT DOWN" IS AN EXCUSE FOR

I PANICKED AND GRABBED TO MUCH FRONT BRAKE

Yeah on gravel or dirt maybe...... I deliberately locked the back wheel with the intent of a sideways drop down, one of the blokes from work went back and looked at "both" the skid marks he reckons I had both wheels locked up, I went back had a look only saw one that I thought might have been mine.

They slide with that wheel locked allright.... on..off..on..off..on..off.. front and rear together....we are taught that with the heavy trucks i drive ...up to 58 tonne...you stop quicker and straighter....only its just a brake pedal in the truck...

I think it's often too much rear brake that starts the tail a' waggin'? I went down on my Sprint once, it wasn't bashful about it, it laid itself right down like a cheap hooker. Fun fact: bikes slide 10x further than people.

I had a car stop in front of me to turn left during a bit of a race. I grabbed both brakes hard and brought it down to five oh and just went around. My mate thought I was a goner. Nope not this time. I was well pleased with the handling of the Rocket.

Yes you can lay a rocket down, roll her end over end ,watch your face shield grind off on the asphalt have you wife come rescue you from the siberian canadian butcher and ride again.

Summes it up

Called Cadence Braking. Threshold Braking is better if you can get teh practise time to master it. ABS basically does the latter for you - I mean if you're old, lazy etc.......................

Glad you are alright and hung in their to the end, had to be a very scary situation; "Be Safe!

I would be going to have a few very stern words s with that Ckhunt that’s for sure

Yes I know where he works so just waiting to calm down before I pay him a visit........ I think he didn't see me because the tint on his drivers window was way too dark, going to let him know that, I was glaring at him after I stopped but could barely see his face.
