2015 Rocket 3 Touring
So I've been spending a few days near Daytona Beach, FL this week at my sisters winter home. Since I was near Daytona, I decided to go and take in the 75th anniversary of bike week.

Now I know I ride a rather rare breed of motorcycle, but this is insane.... I have not seen one single Rocket 3 motorcycle over the pass two days. I guess I should have trailered my bike down and rode through town to show everyone what a Rocket III looks like. I have seen literally thousands and thousands of bikes and not one Rocket anywhere...I'm Dumbfounded! I have nothing against Harley's (having owned several), but if I have to look at one more....I'm going to gag!

I'm feeling like a lone pilgrim in an unholy land.....

Ya don't see many Bugatti Veyron Super Sports around either!?!?
and now bugatti has the CHIRON model ( just a revamped VEYRON with led light and a higher price tag I think around 2.2 millions ) heck you get speeding tickets in first gear with this kind of car, but if you pay 2 millions for the toy ,the speeding ticket is no longer registering much on your bank account

I know how you feel Bedifferent. Harley...Harley...Harley ...

When my wife and I went to Sturgis in 2008, we had the distinction of having our Rocket spit on. Even parked right next to the security guard.

There are a lot of Harley guys that want to come over to the Rocket, they approach me all the time and ask me how I like my R3T. Their story is all very similar. They tell me that when they were looking for a new bikea couple years back, they looked very seriously at the rocket and almost bought one. The problem was they wanted a fairing with a radio and triumph didn't offer one so they bought a Harley. They would be a lot more rockets around if triumph would have finished the R3T with a fairing with instrumentation and radio.

That is just unreal...how crappy is that. The hardcover Harley owners can be like that.

@Bedifferent I've been over a couple of times already and am going back over.Send me a pm if you want to meet somewhere over that way.

That would be cool Fingers, but two days and I've had enough. It was fun to see, but I'm tucked away out of town for the next couple days. I might make a stab at going to the Triumph/Ducati dealership, but I don't know when.
