HEY and the ROCK SOLID RULE is the most efficient riders get about 30 % better fuel economy and tire life compared to the least efficient riders

I don't want to ride efficient, I want to ride fast, LOL.

Jesus, re the first post, the Touring tank is 3 feet wide already, another 2 1/2 gallons?

AND running your tires at low pressure reduces fuel economy and increases tire wear and reduces casing durability every 10 psi is a 2% loss in fuel economy and more tire tread is more rolling resistance the best road surface is polished concrete at minus 12% ,asphalt with a finish coat is 13% more rolling resistance -a medium coarse finish 4% more, coarse Aggregate another 8 % more, chip and seal blacktop is the worst with another 33 % more. energy dissipation in the tires and suspension give a loss of mpg and horsepower

Hey EasTexRIII.... I found the Chopper Supply place in Denton, Texas near Fort Worth, and they do fabricate motorcycle gas tanks. They have several on their website. Of course, they are all smaller than ours, ( they're for choppers ). So I've made my request, and I'm waiting for their reply. Wonder if they'll laugh at me? Or, reply at all?
Did they ever get back to you with options? I know the other options given here like saddle bag fuel and so on are cheaper, but still would like to know what Chopper Supply has to say.
