Ignition relocation - alternate location?

Most of the threads suggest people use the LHS infill panel and the circular indent meant to house the optional power outlet. You do have to extend the cabling to that. Looking at your photo I wonder if the cable would allow you to cut a small circle in the radiator mesh and mount it there with the barrel sticking out and the rest behind the mesh. I doubt the heat could cause a problem.

I was looking earlier and wondering if I could mount it in the plastic shroud just above it to the right. Thanks for that

I've seen the posts just not many photos from people where they have mounted it. I also use my auxiliary charger so I don't want to remove that

i did twice move the barrel from the oem place to the left side @DEcosse made me an extension for the cable 24 inches is plenty I removed the barrel from original position by sawing off the two wings where the one way bolts holding it are located soft metal there 2 minutes tops to cut them up and relocated the barrel down on the left plastic cover behind the engine
