Idle Screw Adjust ain't gonna affect your gas mileage, i would be looking more in the direction of the speedo correction or not as the case may be.

Todd I was posting the same thought on the speedo correction. After my intake and exhaust mods with the tuneboy tune for them my mileage dropped to 25-27 mpg. I have a 3-1 predator pipe with the supertrapp muffler. It did not matter whether I ran it open ended or with a varied amount of discs and closed end. The mileage stayed in the same range. I used to get 30-32 mpg and 7% correction would be approximately 27-29. So I believe the speedo correction plays a significant role in the true mileage. I have not adjusted any idle screws on my bike. With the predator pipe the O2 sensor is eliminated and I had a similar higher idle at traffic lights when the bike was hot. I ordered an O2 bypass end plug from dyno tech which solved that problem. I think it cost $15.

My mileage dropped a lot, but mostly 'cause of the speedo correction. Also been told the new tunes do dump a bit more fuel, so I did expect to see some drop in mileage...but hey, what ya' gonna' do. 8)

I think Scotty is right. It is not the idle adjust.

IT IS THE TUNE! If you are using one of Tuneboy's performance tunes then a further increase in fuel use should be expected. The factory tunes are developed more for emmissions and controllability. A true performance tune is going after all the power that can be mustered from the engine and that usually means using more fuel.

Still, I would expect you to average low 30's, 28 MPG at the lowest if you're running full TORs and minor intake mods.

Colder temperatures will also lower MPG. I've gotten as bad as 17 MPG in the winter.

The higher ethanol fuel blends also lower engine efficiency. I hate running that stuff. I will always notice higher MPG and a smoother, more powerful engine with 100% gasoline.
