Mouldy.... down the South Coast near Batemans Bay. Me and a mate running Federal 595 in 245/50 R16. JUST clears the swingarm.
But don't tell anybody I posted on a darkside thread.... please.
HEY!!!! 17 posts and no Art? WHERE'S ART??? EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!
I had a car tire on my vtx 1800, and now on my r3r. The tire can still corner more than the bike. Also the tire's tread never leaves the pavement, even while folding the pegs in a corner. The sidewall flexes and still has a better contact patch than with a mc tire..
With all that said: Here's a pic of me and the wife chasing my son on the dragon. Picture worth a thousand words.
About what PSI are you running in that tire? I have 32psi in mine right now but I haven't ridden it yet. I ride 2 up about 80% of the time and I am guessing 32psi might be a bit low.
I think 32 to 35 psi is a good place to start. In that picture I was close to 40 psi because I just had the tire put on the day before. I'm running around 35 in mine now.
Me too. Much more confident. Know it won't lock up so quick under brakes. Regularly ground footpegs despite moving them up. Never had one slip in the rain. Fellow following me one way said the spray off the tyre reminded him of following a Mack truck.
OOPS>>>>>>I must not post on darkside threads I must not post on darkside threads I must not post on darkside threads I must not ......... (Forgot... Sorry.)
