went to my Triumph dealer today(Foothills BMW in Colorado) and asked what was on my R3 and if it isn't 20054 can they install it. Turns out there's 20048 on it so they installed 20055. Mine is an 05 with TOR pipes,Cat bypass and K&N filter on it and underseat snorkle removed. Should I insist on 20054? They were cool about the tune install, not complainig about the service. They state that is what Triumph is recommending for my setup.... :?:

Thanks for bringing this up Torch. I too am soon to have cat delete with TORs and will need a change in tune. I looked earlier today for the "list" of tunes that I have seen but it isn't in any sticky on this site. I think Andy or Wayne made one up some time ago. Hint, hint.
20054 is what I remember as well for TOR-Cat delete.

These are the last tune codes that I know of:

20050 Standard silencers with cat
20051 French 78.1KW version
20052 German 72.1KW version
20053 Aftermarket silencers with cat
20054 Aftermarket silencers with cat box removed
20055 Standard silencers without cat
20056 Aftermarket silencers without cat

I have the TORs, catbox removed and K&N undertank filter mod.
According to the listing the 54 tune should be right, but my tech installed the 55 tune because that's what his handheld computer told him was best for my setup, so I think the codes are more or less guidelines. My bike runs fine with the 55 tune but does occasionally have the deceleration burbing. No big deal.

Interesting....I too have the tors, by-pass, k&N, ....what is the snorkle business?........
The dealer put on the tors before I got the bike and told me they loaded the "off road" tune. Have since put on the by-pass and K&N...service mgr said it was fine as it is and would do not harm, but would check it if I liked.....got a tech to the the side and he said there is another tune which is better.....and the K&N makes no difference at all.....also indicated the company is sending out additional tune maps, the latest for some cold starting problems....will be taking it in next week and see what they come up with.

It's the plastic piece under your seat that directs air into your intake. You drill out the rivets and remove the snorkle and the bike is supposed to breath better....
