Someone has had a similar idea.

I did mine back in 2011 It used to be chrome with black mesh. Made it black during the rebuild.

I still think my design has a lot more air space + much more aggressive look with the heavy duty mesh.

Still it is awesome to see variety

Yep they have been posted previously and made by David Gill davidx90@hotmail.co.uk a forum member who does a number of R3 custom parts etc. and he has his own website where things are cheaper and he responds to email real fast Rocke's Patches.Welcome to Rocke's Patches - Rocke's Patches

If things are not available on eBay website try the Rocke's Patches one and go to pull down menus for R3 body parts Plastic and Metal. Some listings on eBay may indicate not available to some countries but he will usually send and even combine eBay and Rocke's Patches items in much reduced combined shipping.
