hp/torque mods and dyno sheets

I'm planning to keep stock 3-1-2 look and staying 2" pipe to the crossover then it will be straight thru with stock size like tors but homemade. Would a megaphone help? I could get megaphones and put them inside the stock pipe if there is an advantage to have them in this configuration. I'm trying to keep stock look if you couldn't tell. Lol
Here Art in case you it quoted for you :) he is trying to maintain the OEM look!!!!!!!!!!!

still waiting for the 1500cc (still some rocket left somewhere) turbo 450hp dyno sheet to 10000rpm.That will be cool to look at, oh and the cost as well. Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all you R3 tragics. :)

I really never meant this thread to turn into a high hp pissing contest. Was hoping for what combination of off the shelf parts (air cleaner, exhaust, other smaller mods) plus a weekend in the shed with a 6 pack equals hp/tq. And if there's a dyno sheet even better. Don't mind seeing what you high hp guys can do, but not everyone has resources for a custom carpenter'ed blown, turbo, nitro- methane street driven 60 mph wife cruiser.

Thanks 1olbull, that is exactly what I. meant., Not "look at me", just it is what it is and I'm happy with it.

Imfastoo, I don't mind taking my time and doing it the hard way. I wanted to keep the stock look, hopefully get 140- 150 hp and be different. What I'm attempting, to my knowledge hasn't been done yet.

Warp, check out Coneeng.com for exhaust components. Never used them but they had a good demonstration at Barber a couple years ago.

Yes I already have the cone calculator on my Lap top. this is exactly what I was thinking. Although I think you should look at a picture of a bike with the Jardine set up it is close to OEM and the sound is awesome.

This was the latest run. The blue lines were with TORS and the de-restricting tune for the R3T and then tweaked on the dyno.

The red line is same tuner and same dyno from a year later after I put on the RamAir.

I was very happy with the gains made from the RamAir for the money and time involved.

About the only other thing I will do is get a header for it one of these days because after that the days of making power cheaply will be over. ;)
