hp/torque mods and dyno sheets

Carpenter mods and exhaust. Member Steel is in your neighborhood, he just had the 270 hp package done.

My 2007 came with Jardines. I installed the triple filters and for less than $800 for a PCIII and tuning I have 152 hp at 6000 rpm and 162 ft lbs, SAE. I can't imagine 100 more hp, except for committing suicide.

I have been reading some of the posts over the last several months as well as checking out some of the dyno sheets. Horsepower and torque are great, but the rewards don't seem to be in the area where you do most of the riding...2500rpm to 4500rpm. I guess if you are cranking the higher rpms through the gears you reap the benefits but not so much in the cruising range. Anyone care to comment on that.

A good tuner should give you smooth power at the low end where you do most of your riding. This is what impresses me most about my PCIII dyno tune.
