Howdy! New Rocket III owner.

I just picked up a '08 Touring from a guy in Harlingen. Chrome is jacked, some bolts and other parts are rusted, but I'm excited to clean her up and use her a blank canvas for my own daily driver. I hope to both read and contribute to the discussions here.

As an introduction, I'm 25 with two kids and one on the way, I've been riding for 8 months and have owned an '05 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 and currently own a '20 Vulcan S. I'm a data center technician for Microsoft and a big techie in general.

I'm eager to pick y'alls brains for ideas.

"played" with is a loose term here lol, turns out whoever owned it before me lost the coolant reservoir cap (and didn't refill the coolant), didn't have an air filter, and laid it to the left. Thankfully the engine guard ate most/all the damage so she's in good shape, just needs some TLC
