How to remove Secondaries

you can also open the secs to 100% using tuneECU...

This sounds like a simpler and possibly better option providing a similar result with more flexibility for setting it just right. Is that a correct interpretation?

yes it is, if you're into computers!
otherwise it is probably much easier to do the mechanic work instead.

different things have different complexity for people depending on skills and approach.

However there are those that say that even with the secs open 100% it still takes some time for them to open fully, it is not instant.
the butterflies being there may also cause a slight turbulence, better to have them completely removed. some say, it may be so, I don't know!

Yes it is that simple! You may have the motor warning light after the removal. After the 12min tune and some hundret meters on the road the light will disapear.

You can do this without TB oder Powercommander. Shure.

I have put in the GIpro first. It was the best mod so far. Than removed the secondaries. All together is just great. So unfortunatelly I can not say what it will mean with the secondaries only.
But I feel an additional push in the excelleration phase.

Hope you understand what I mean. Just check my how to with the Gipro!

Isn't that combination AWSOME!?! GiPro with the secondaries removed feels like a totally different bike. I never expected to even be able to feel the difference after doing it, nearly every other performance mod makes such a subtle difference it's difficult to know if it helped or hurt. But $150 for the GiPro and no cost to remove the secondaries was by far the most bang for the buck I've done yet. You can feel the difference just pulling out of the driveway.

After doing the GIpro I felt a uncomfortable bucking in lower speed. I run the GIpro on mod 3 (full power in all gears). The bucking cam from the lean adjustment for Gas in the standard mapping.

After getting TuneECU I installed the 20366 map. This is the original Triumph Map comes with the race exhaust. Using this 20366 map solved all the problems. The Rocket now behaves like a rocket. I think this is just incredable. This mod costs about 150 € in total and it is a complete change in power.

Now you can even the touring call a real beast. I am totally happy!

I believe that those views could certainly be relevant, especially the delay factor after watching the video. Having exclusive control is what makes the throttle "snappy" and instantaneous at all speeds and loads. Some don't like that feeling, I understand why ... if you aren't careful it snaps your head back by just cracking the throttle open a little bit. But it's easy to try out, see if you like it ... you can always just screw them back in if it makes you feel uneasy.

There's no need to remove the secondaries. Just open them woth TuneECU.
