no - that is a different pair of shoes (how we say it in Germany).

You have to do both if you like to feel the beast.
Ok thanks Hardy i will
i have my K&Ns on the way but the Power comander v sounds like it might hold me up on pre order :( but not to worry got the GIpro to play with till then :D

The Power Commander will come with the same eliminator. I would wait until you either load a custom tune via tuneboy or tuneecu or get the PCV before running it with triples.

after installing the headlight relay and a PC8 ,I dove into the triple filter and secondaries mod , took me all day to finish the job
for those who will do the same here are a few pointers to help speed up some of the frustration I dealt with (1) when removing the big airbox manifold , the rear clip holding the manifold rear intake is buried under many wires my only solution was to pry upward all the wires with a long skinny screwdriver and with a flexible wrench extention managed to insert an ex key in the rounded end and unscrewed the clip.
(2) the temp sensor is not screwed in just pry it loose from the rubber ring , and finally I lenghtened the electric connection to the air temp so I can insert it in one of the filter.

and while doing all that I removed all the chrome pieces and had them powdered coated even the home made floorboard extension

Now you have to get out the tin snips and start trimming the bearclaw into a work of art (paper people holding hands or a snow flake would be nice). :D

I am thinking matter of fact to drill parallel sets of 1/2 inch holes vertically three down two rows per filters beats the snowflake design
