Blue Job is gerat on chrome but will buff out the satin finish on the headers.

Try packing with ice ,wait till it's as cold as the ice then try chiping it off carefully it might work .

Here is a video I found about cleaning burnt plastic off pipes. Might work for you. I personally used my TubO'towels wipes on very warm pipes three or four times until it all came off and then chrome polished it back to shiny.

Depending on how much crap is there, I"ve used WD40 in combination with a razor blade to scrape off any burnt off crap from polished stainless sidepipes. The WD40 provides enough lube to avoid scratching.
