How to carry wet weather gear on Rocket 3

Hepco and Becker make a range of panniers for the Rocket using their C-Bow system...
Why thank you @SPWL, those Hepco and Becker offerings look really promising.

I'm very much liking the look of both the Buffallo and the Orbit Case system. I will look more into it when at by PC again but I must say I'l liking what I'm seeing here on my mobile: 👍

My viking tail bag has enough space for that plus tools, air compressor, etc etc... just get a larger rack from lamonster so it's better supported... and don't worry about the "lab samples tray design" based on weight reduction i imagine... you won't see once in use... and if so is handy to hold your cups

When I converted my 2005 Classic to Ramair, it left me with a very useful storage box that used to house the air filter, Plenty of room in there for some lightweight wet gear / packed lunch etc

In case you haven't already seen this thread, it may be relevant....

Well, just ordered a set of those Hepco&Becker Buffalo's along with the accompanying C-Bow brackets. Hopefully they all go on without too much difficulty.

I'm a little uneasy about needing to drill out the plastic and asked if the shop would be willing to fit them for me. They said normally they would be willing to fit but in this instance they weren't on account of the drilling. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence when the shop selling the product aren't willing to do it but hopefully it will all be fine.

I did it on mine, as long as you use the right drills it is ok. Use a drill bit from the top that just fits the top holes to get your centre. Then use a stepped drill to expand to the right diameter.

This may b dumb or brilliant
Whatabout taking a hairdryer and warming it up a little
Heat tends to make plastic more pliable and maybe not crack
I know i put 4 holes in my clearview shield
W/O heat.
