Hanso

Hanso seems to not have an issue at the same weight or greater. Hanso, does your trailer have brakes?

Not yet but I make sure I give plenty of braking space keep things a sensible as possible, the Rocket copes very well with the weight as long as you balance your load and set it up right so you have a good down pressure on towbar, I use the Aussie made Towbar (Hitch) made by Classic Industries which has a bit of leeway for adjusting ball height, I also extended the draw bar on the camper to improve towing stability as I feel most trailer drawbars are a bit short and I triangulated and reinforced what was just a single central draw bar which could cause flex, I also upgraded the suspension and will eventually fit brakes but not so much that it is drastically needed just do it for extra safety, Of course these are just my opinions but it works for me with all my mods, "The Kiwi" Mal has the same camper as mine but without the mods and extra weight and it tows just fine
Oh I noticed the Gidget does not have a 360 degree swivel hitch so that is something you would need to change, here in Auss a trailer towed by a Motorcycle can not be wider than 4 feet wide and the youtube clip I found looks like it might be wider than that allowed

It does not look like your getting much useful information on this subject. Most of the replies are anti trailer and negitive. I can understand why one would not want to pull a trailer but thats not the information I came here to research.
If I wanted opinions on why not to do something I would talk to my wife...

Any good pictures of rockets pulling trailers?

I must have just read through the wrong thread, most the posts I saw were from existing trailer users giving helpful pointers and warning the OP of the consequences of pulling too much weight.

I'm not the brightest though o_O

In my quest that you set me upon, I found you a Vidalwagen.

So I am a little dyslectic, but would love an upright V2 in my backyard so you can have the Vidalwagen once I'm done. ;):p:D

V2ROCKET.COM - Support Vehicles
Vidalwagen Road Transporter
The Vidalwagen was used to transport the V2 from the railhead to the field stores and then again to the firing troop transfer point, where the missile would be hoisted onto the Meillerwagen. It was lightweight, but very strong. The 46-foot long A-frame tubular design could easily support the 4,485 lbs (2040 kg) weight of the empty V2. The Vidalwagen was designed by Otto Daus, at that time chief constructor in the Tempo-works at Vidal & Sohn Co. It is a very elusive subject as very little informations remains about this trailer. All documents were destroyed after the war to give the impression that Vidal Co. was not a war factory. Besides a few photos and the statement of Oscar Vidal, that the Vidalwagen existed, no one has found any documents about this transport wagon.
