How does our bike stack up?

TC

I can see you and Mitch......stopping to have a latte

I guess with the Coppers fanging you guys down under.....Maybe strapping a toy panda bear on the back of the Rockets...might not make you guys look like any Bikie groups

Just a thought while you are sipping your lattes......LMAO
Only Qld is temporarily being victimized with unsustainable and unjust, discriminating laws. However the rest of OZ laws hold individuals accountable , free from persecution under association laws. IMO

Had a very early vmax until post office van backed over it , then 10 years on wings moved a lot closer to work and got vrod that i still have nice bike but since I've had the rocket it's been out once in 5 months poor vrod.

I rode a mates Vrod a while back . I found it to be like a high reving sporty quicker and more refined yet tiny in rider presence. Would have one for sure IF THE PRICE WAS RIGHT, but like you not at the lose of the r3. Well done to have both.

I had one and trade it for the R3, now i want it back!!:(
Of course i would keep my R3, along with my other 6.5 bikes:)

I loved my '06 VMax. It was the first bike I bought new though it was bike number 26. My only regret was not adding certain safety features like frame support and fork support to help stiffen it up some. That partly led to my first street bike crash. But straight line running, I could never get enough of its all out thrust. Many folks don't like the VMax on the highway, but I did several 500 mile days in its saddle and never complained. It had a short range though and I had to stop ever 100-120 miles for fuel. Other that that, it is hard to beat the thrill of that ride.
Now compare the VMax to my R3T, the T has way more comfort and enough thrust that I don't regret buying it vice a new VMax. The R3T takes care of both my needs and my wants in a very good way. The two bikes are not even close in comparison though many people do. On the ¼ mile track, stock VMax wins, beef either of them up equally, maybe the R3 will eventually outrun the Max, I just don’t know if anyone has ever done such a thing…

carpenter got a r3 to break 8 seconds in the 1/4... heavily modified...

i was surprised that the mags were so amused by the r3...

and it took me a while, but i found a 8 second vmax, too...

http://planetvmax.com/

but jay gleason got a stock vmax to break 10 seconds... that just ain't gonna happen on a stock r3...

i got a look at a '14 v max...must say i like the looks of it...looks mean...

however...it still in my honest opinion isnt as cool looking as a rocket...i saw one today on the road here in sioux falls ..it was a touring and looked absolutley awsome...
