Stock 109 and a StockVrod same weight rider, best rider will win!
Good pipes aircleaner and a good tune the 109 wins. I was never beat by a Vrod.
When my new Rocket had 200 miles on it I raced a buddy who had A 109 pipes air pcv , we were neck and neck the whole way! Did I mention I had my ol Lady on the back when we raced!!!

The Vrod misses the cruiser point, it don't cruise! When I was trying to trade out of my sportster I took a vrod for about a 10 mile test ride and the power didn't roll on til 4000 rpm once there the bike really came into its own but harley being the King of cruisers kinda missed the boat. I think that motor should go into a sportbike frame but then it couldn't compete in the muscle bike category.
