I'd be happier with a mileage Warranty..... In the 18 months that I have owned my R3 I have done less than 1000 miles.....I usually have a few bikes that I ride,at the moment I am down to the R3 and Gen2 Vmax1700

Does it need Tuneboy or PCV? .....the guy that sold the bike that Micromike1 just bought avoided the question that i asked 2 or 3 times

I have TORs fitted at the moment but I have also got a Pred system with 1 3/4" headers ...I have also got a PCV which is not fitted at the moment

Rotrex give me 2yr warranty. So I can't offer any different. If you don't do any miles then it will last a very long time. No other aftermarket manufacturer offers as good a warranty.
 

Asked the same things regarding tuneboy etc but did not get a posative answer Hope i am wrong but i am starting to have a few doubtes about the bike !
is the guy selling the bike the owner? No money changed hands yet ! Thanks for the info chandelierman

2 years warranty is more than I would expect on an aftermarket blower for my bike. My humble tuning experiences in the past always included the risk of something blowing up, and me paying the bill...
 

I got a couple of replys through ebay,I asked about Tuneboy and PCV but he never answered,he quoted 320bhp to begin with and I said it looked like a stage 1 kit that puts out 240+.....he said it was a typing error and changed the ad to 280bhp,I asked if he had a dyno printout to back up his claims and he said TTS had them,I also asked if he had a receipt for the new crank.....he said TTS had that aswell.....as they fitted it under warranty?..........I asked what went wrong with it and that I knew of someone who had his crank break after not many miles (this is Les aka Trirocket3 as already said by Richard) ...he said the crank broke after only 500 miles,I asked how many miles had he done on it since having it fitted and he said only 1500.
After all said and done it might be a bonifide bike but without any paperwork to back it up I personally wouldn't buy it
 
I would have thought Richard would remember if tts had fitted a new crank under warranty?
And if I had just had a supercharger fitted and dynoed I would like a printout to show off
Still got a funny feeling about this one

tts have all the print outs this was fitted 5 years ago the same thing happened to this one but with about 500 miles it broke the crank it does not run a power commander the silencer options are slip on end cans of varying shapes giving different exhaust tones ...... what is your friends name who's crank broke ??

hi thanx for your interest your absolutely right the info is a typing error it should be 280bhp I will amend the information and thank you for pointing this out ..... no report as tts did the repair work under warranty two years ago the super charger has done roughly 1500 miles. .i have it insured on my company policy through aviva ... regards Stewart

Now don't go inflating the problem. The few that have had trouble I have helped them with the problem. If I missed any one on email, then they should have called me and I would have sorted them. It was generally that the 12 mm thread put in the end of the crank wasn't cut true. The bolt would break eventually and take the end of the crank out. While this is repairable to a much stronger and more accurate condition obviously we would rather it not happen. Hence my kits having jigs to stop this happening. We beefed up the bearing as well just because we had the opportunity. I have A LOT of supercharged bikes out across the world, many with huge miles on with no issues.
Now regarding this bike for sale, if someone gives me the guys full name I will look up what we have done for him. If we repaired it it will be a good job.
