Horn Replacement

I've got FIAMM Highway Blasters on my Beemer, F and G note, and they are loud.

Getting ready to fit one for the Rocket soon. Around $20 at Pep Boys.
I 've got fiamm dual horns as well..mounted under the rad facing each other

Just a question, did you use the existing wiring on the rocket or did you run a separate circuit for these horns? The reason I ask is that these horns come with a relay that has a higher output than some stock relays.
Thanks
I used the stock wires to engage the relay. I ran a fused wire from the battery for power to the horn. The stock wires will not give the horn enough power to run the compressor.

There is a pretty good write up here:

Definitely need to run thru a relay I extended the stock horn wires so they would reach back under the left side cover where I mounted the compressor and relay use the stock horn wires to switch the relay (triumph uses the Negative wire for switching) I run the negative for the compressor from the frame and the positive from battery via a 20amp fuse to compressor via relay.
The std horn runs on 10 amps Stebel Nautilus runs 20amps

I just installed a WOLO Badboy last weekend in place if the stock horn. Ran the fused wire, mounted the relay next the horn.

I tell ya, I peed a little bit the first time I hit the button.

The lady at the garage where I get my inspection sticker said blow the horn. I told her it works, and it's really loud. She said I have to hear it. So I gave it a good 2 second blast, and she almost dropped her clipboard. lol
