Holy Crap My Classic is back (inside my Tourer!)

Thanks for paving the way! The major reason I went for the R3T was the narrower rear tire. I find the handling to be far superior and just easier to ride in general. Now its just where I want it to be pick-up wise.

I liked the bags and the deal I got also. I found out about the smaller rear wheel last week. I havn't done much to mine, TORS and removed the secondaries, but I was pulling out on a wet road and had to punch it. Last time I had a bike fishtail like that I had a flat. Rear tire broke loose and was all over the place. You do have to be careful when all that power is actually available.

Glad you kept her upright Willy.
Back end breaking loose is why I went dark,
well that and riding in the rain.
Haven't heard of any R3T captains going dark (yet).
Ride safe,
skip

I too was disappointed with the RIIIT performance, but w/ minor parts and a dyno tune using TuneBoy, we're now producing 133HP, and 163lb/ft at the rear wheel.
It also makes Met tires rich, as I get 5,000 miles if I take it some what easy. The rear tire spins more than you realize, as I found when on concrete and the same twist of the grip, that the front wheel heads for the sky. Glad you're lovin it, I sure as hell do.
Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! I guess now that I put $5 grand into the R3T I won't be getting much!
