Never been very loud. Will pull on a chain from time to time even in person. Most people who know me like my wife just ignores my crap. The guys at work just walk away. Once in awhile I get a bite and have some fun. My apologies Las Vegas DAVE.

lets do this again. 1987 Honda shadow 125,000 miles (five years) 1992 Goldwing 175,000 miles (five years) 2005 Bonneville America 159,000 miles (five years) 2010 Harley Fatboy 84,000 miles (five years) The Harley had to be rebuilt after 55,000 miles. The last long ride I took was back in 96 Norfolk V.A. to Oklahoma. I do ride a lot back and forth to work. I love motorcycles and ride every day. Got a 2013 fiat abarth bought new in 2013 that has 15,000 miles on it. The Rocket bought in Oct. Has 14,500 miles on it (getting the Picture Here) Some folks are real slick talking or writing and have real nice comments but if you walk the walk that is a good thing but if you just talk the talk that is bull****. I at times like your comments but at times feel like that maybe your riding more on ego than facts.

Seems to me this doesn't add up.
87 - 91 125K = over 2,000 per month or 68.5 miles EVERY day.
92 - 96 175k = over 2,900 miles per month or 95 miles EVERY day.
What happened to 97 - 2004 = 8 year hiatus?
05 - 09 159K = 2,650 per month or 87 miles EVERY day.
10 - 14 84K = 1,400 per month or 46 miles EVERY day.
15 - 14,500 in 8 mo = over 1,800 per month or 60 miles EVERY day.
Totals
557,500 miles in less than 21 years = 26,548 miles per year or 73 miles average per day, EVERY day for 21 years!
This HAS TO BE some kind of a world record!!!

Not so hard @1olbull. I used to do a return trip of 70 mikes to work every day. If traffic was bad I would go by back roads through the countryside and it would be about 90 miles. Add on to that some fun miles and it soon adds up. Even without that trip now, I am still putting 21,000 miles per year on the car and another 13-15k on the bike. That adds up to around 35,000 miles per year.

In the last 11 years I have put 130,000 miles on the RIII, 10,000 on the Enfield, 14,000 on the Bonneville, and 170,000 on my cars. That is 334,000 in 11 years, or 30,364 per year, or 83 per day.

I do 50,000 miles a year on my schwinn. and you know it's true because you read it on the internet.
