Hi from John in the UK.

Hello and welcome, glad you and the bike are in one piece....some trip!

Next month over a weekend me and the mrs should be heading up and around the peaks and lakes with a stop in Manchester in between, good place to be based, a lot of lovely stuff on the door step!

Hello from Canada!

I am glad that you are alright, we all know that it could be worse.

There are many things I like, but they don't necessary like me.
Computers, I like them, but some how they don't like me.
Twisty country roads, I like them, but they don't like me.
Pretty girls, I like them, but they don't like me.

My rocket? I like it, I think its is getting to like me :)
They'll look after you in a brawl - I know lol

Dear Mr. @Siddley1947 hello and welcome.
How very nice of you to grace us with your presence.
How very sorry I am to learn of that nasty old Scottish road furtively assaulting you in such a bold un-polite manner.

Do you wear a kilt when riding and is that one of YOUR STONES I see hanging back of your motor?
:p:p:p
I'll look into the kilt!

Hi John
Still reeling from the tongue lashing I received from the last new guy thread........

I would like to personally welcome you to the forum.

I'm very sorry to hear about your misfortunes on the road
The fact that you were able to get her home is a testament to your strength and fortitude. And overall good character

Welcome again to the site and if there is anything at all you need don't hesitate to ask

Remember there are no bad questions just bad answers!

Jim
Cheers Jim. I'm gonna be fixed before the bike but eBay is being scoured.

G'day and welcome. That was a good intro ride, apart from the bad bits - and they could have been a lot worse.

It is not a "Classic" as they had two0tone paint, floor boards, and a couple of other differences. It looks like a "Standard" RIII, the manufacturer plate should tell you the year.

Are those Yamaha mirrors I see?
I thought they were standard Triumph mirrors but now I'm not so sure lol
