Hi all will be getting 2009 Touring shortly and have ?'s

Hey DRMD, I would be willing to meet somewhere, just let me know. Are you wanting to get rid of some stuff? Tim

Actually, I don't have anything I want to part with just yet. When I get bored, I switch things out to have a different bike instead of buying another one. :D

My little scooter is in the shop in Ft. Worth. When I get her back, I'll give you a shout along with Stripes. I was thinking about a Saturday run up to Pop's in Arcadia, Oklahoma sometime.

"I think the later Tourings are all the same, but not completely positive. I have the Triumph 25" windshield, total wind protection, downside is at night it reflects all the instrument lighting as a smear of orange, white, and blue across the windshield at exactly eye level for me (6'), maybe you will look over it. Dual long haul seat is the most comfortable motorcycle seat I've ever sat on, bar none, even cross country. I didn't like the angle my hands grasped the handlebars at, I put Classic bars on, at the limit of my reach, but much better angle. At 6' 3" I can't imagine you needing risers with either bars. Jardines, triple K&Ns and a retune with TuneECU (freeware) give me 150 hp and torque, considerable difference from stock, but the Jardines are real rumblers, deep and loud."

I have a 2011 R3T and would like to increase the HP/Torque with minimum changes. I especially would like to keep the bike as quiet as I can. Even 130hp would be good, any suggestions would be appreciated....

Pretty sure there are tunes for stock pipes that open the secondaries 100% and such, not sure what the HP figures would be, but definitely pick up some of the lost HP.

Your bike will have exactly the same amount of hp before and after secondarys are removed it will feel more responsive but u wont gain hp

Fairly sure the 2013 comes with ABS standard

None of the 2013's I looked at had ABS even though it said ABS in the title of the bike. Saw another one today at the Triumph dealership...still no ABS. I got a new 2012 from Canada refitted as a US spec bike just so I could have ABS...and it works freakin' great. Love it.

oh they have abs here in Australia

Hey DRMD where did you get the V3 for the radiator, it looks really nice.
Sorry I just saw this post. I actually bought that old chrome V8 emblem off of a 56 or 57 Ford pickup and cut a portion out to make the 3. Thanks for the compliment!
