HELP :Ticking sound from engine

Dennsell, Is this something that I can check myself as far as the timing chain guides? If so what is the procedure or the how to? Thanks for the information.
..

I was not saying that you have this problem just that it is a possibility..
Paint can rattle.

Check your header flanges for ticking exaust leak

Check the water pump also for noises one failed recently.

Tip if you put the handle of a long medium sized screwdriver on your Ear and use the blade or point on the case or water pump it will amplify noises for you like a stethoscope ;) use the handle end on ya ear :D

I think the blade of the screwdriver would fit more easily than the handle in your ear. LOL I will check the water pump area as the noise does seem to be coming from the front of the bike.

CanberraR3, Dennsell, thanks!

Most likely it is exhaust leakage. I've already checked averything but couldn't find any leak. Should check more...
