Help please for 2012 roadster w/abs front wheel

In their "wisdom" Triumph elected to put the ABS-Rotor side spacer under the ABS system, rather than the Wheel

already have there is some damage to ABS bracket and sensor, so replacing both of them, will get a pic in a little while. rotors are good some scrape marks on left caliper but more cosmetic than damage. Sensor ring has wear marks but is still usable
yea took a while to find but ordered that today so hopefully in a few weeks all will be good

Funny thing is I just rebuilt the forks on a 2005. I was a little puzzled that this one only had a spacer on the right side. The axle on the left side went all the into the left side hub and only the 2 pinch bolts held on the left side. My 2006 has a spacer on both sides. What is up with that ?

it probably stayed in the wheel
if it was missing then the only thing that would hold it in place would be the brake rotors

No. No spacer on the left side of this front wheel. The way the axle is designed, a spacer is not needed and would not fit.

well i guess that explains why my book does not show that spacer or mentions it in the directions.
all that they would have to do is make the shaft the correct size

There is a spacer, I got a non abs spacer from ebay and cut it down to specs of the right one and works great. Still have ordered all components just in case, but taking it to get re-inspected now. The size of the spacer is 35mmODx 20mmIDx17.01mmLG.
