Welcome to The Group.
What options does the bike have, if any and, is there any service history/recall fixes?
How far is the nearest service shop?
These bikes are new at <5000 miles.
The bike requires maintenance. Some of it can be performed by a novice like me.

you are wanting picks of the 05 ? I do not have much on it yet its though a dealer here in Denver. there are many service people here in Denver but when I finally get back to WY there are none for this band in the state. So 230 to 350 miles to one.

Stock bike, red, silver motor, triple piper. Nice! If you PM Scott the serial# he, or someone else might be able to tell you if it in the problem/recall list. To be comfy you probably will need some easy mods but, all bikes do. Offer 3500 to 4000 and settle in the middle. People are scared of these beauties. This group can help you with a lot of regular and not so regular service procedures.

I will send VIn to Scott , they wanted 6k and I got them to 4600 on it they will not go lower. it does look nice and I would want to over time change the chrome for black.

If the bike is shifting well and idling well, the price is good due to such low miles. When you start it don't spike it like the Harley people like to do. Let the bike realize that it's going to ride before you touch the throttle. The sensor/engine management systems of these bikes are moody. You have to treat them like a skidish horse... easy... easy boy.

Have fun. The Rocket is a thrill to ride.

I was told to let the warm up 5 to 10 min and it would be good to go, and I would not have the issues with it some people report. It sounds real good running, I was even impressed when I started it and it was not a thunderous rawer. I have sensitive hearing. (large satellites on both sides of my head ) even giving it the throttle it was smooth.
