Heat from engine

Phil! Be nice!
I just returned from Spokane in over 90° temps.
With the CES it IS EFFING HOT!

@ghost
I had my Sis (a leather fabricator extraordinaire) make me a legging.
She added a multiple layer, including a metallic heat reflector in the area closest to the header.
This helps heaps and, after burning through two pairs of riding pants, has saved all my other riding pants.

@Mittzy have to say the only uncomfortable heat I noticed on your bike was if it wasn't moving for more than a couple of minutes. Slow creeping traffic wouldn't be too much fun I imagine, but as long as you're moving it was fine - and twisting the throttle a little sort of takes your mind of it in any case. ;)

Then of course there was the smoke and smell of burning rubber that was pretty distracting too........:laugh:

That's exactly what we spent over 30 minutes in stop n' go road construction over Mt. Rainier.

I have burnt nothing whilst riding mine, even with the rebands....
But I have a funny looking heat shield and lava wrap

What is that big "dent" in the frame forward of the side cover?

I dunno - always been there- has yours not got a dent? Maybe you should look into getting one:rolleyes:
