Now I exchanged emails with Richard Albans TTS Performance about the idea of using their headers with a cat bypass and leaving the stock mufflers in place. This would save a little money but also keep the noise down. Has anyone installed headers and bypass? The bypass I was looking at is from DP Performance and sold on a site British Legends. Total cost will be over $1500 dollars so I'm a little nervous it being my first purchase from either site and only guessing they will work for my 2017 rocket III roadster. I'm guessing it would leave me in a situation where simply with a muffler purchase I could move to a full flow exhaust situation. Thoughts?

DP crossover mates to the stock mufflers, you just need to remove the muffler gaskets and have a slip seal. Why would you leave the stock mufflers though, that is where the CATS are. The crossover is just that, a crossover/connector. The DP crossover is a nice piece of work. The above is if I am reading right and you have a 2016 R3R

I'm trying to postpone the decision on muffler purchase. Looking for a set that will be an improvement on stock in terms of airflow but with least additional noise. My bike is a 2017 R3R with just over 5K miles on it.

I'm not sure that the DP cross over would mate up to the stock Mufflers, as I say "not sure"

Do you have a photo of this unit ?

These pictures are a bit confusing. There are two different versions so I'm thinking the top one is for my bike.

That DP unit looks like a copy of mine, but with crap bends and mounting brackets.
There's no point have a larger diameter tube if it is stepped down at the ends.
A tube will only flow as much as it's smallest diameter.

EUR489.00 is NZ$824.00, I price mine at NZ$450.00.

That picture looks interesting. Can you give me details including purchase instructions?
