Being as I'm one of the slower boys from Alabama, no chance of being left.
When I first got the Rocket, I had already scheduled a meet with the ST1300 guys and gals down in western North Carolina, and on the main ride, they used the -- I forget what they called it -- point and sweep or something -- anyway there was a group up front, and at main intersections, one of the leaders would pull over, and be a human sign post for the riders that followed all strung out, and when the last passed, that rider would get back in line. Well, I fell so far behind, the sweeper had left and I took a wrong turn, taking the others behind with me until it became immediately obvious that wasn't the way. Since then, my trusty (out of production) Zumo 660 is up front to at least find the way back to civilization (and food and fuel).
