I have not put one oz. of thought into a place to stay................HOLY CRAP.....I am sure I am to late to find a place anywhere close................DANG

I just may to have to drive my truck up there just for the day/ or maybe I could get her to come and spend one night at the most

I just have shot my self in the foot......all I had on my mind after almost 3 years of not being able to ride..... or in the last 18 months not being able to walk 150 feet was pushing to be able to ride by the end of July....My surgeon told me last month...That all of that would be up to me as how much I was willing to push my body to get there. That is why I walk when it is hot out side

Just think.....5 or 6 weeks ago.......there was many times I really thought of killing myself......I was getting so tired of hurting 24/7
1K9...........Is absolutely 99% the reason I am still here on this earth.........We talked here and on the phone ....A LOT

I am sure the wife will not come........We have 7 major issues with us leaving home for more than a day

5 .....Horses........There is no way to leave them for more than early one morning until late the next evening....before dark

1.....18 year old Dalmatian and a cat........I can leave enough food out for them for a few days

it is almost impossible for both of us to leave home together for more than a day

Came up with a master plan, we will go to RAA the first week of august and will go to Cali the last week of september, , now, what is the best way to convince people to postpone a family reunion??

The credit goes to your family for giving you support, the doctors and nurses who got it done and this band of bikers for drumming you off the recliner.

You know as good as I do...I spent nearly 4 years getting MRI's and many injections in each hip joint and into the butt muscles trying to relieve the pain and walking issues. Then you have to throw in all the difference pills they kept trying to reduce the inflammation...they said was the issue.

Then this past Nov. I had fell.....sudden drop attacks my family Doc. said to go see my heart Doc......and after failing a bunch of blood flow test.......then the rest is NOW....History...

I am the one who knows what you did for me before surgery ......after surgery.....who called many times to check on me while I was still in the ICU , then to the step down ward.........My wife did not know who you were and did not know how to retrieve your phone number off the house phone system..
That is why it took me so long to get back to you after I got out of the hosp. and down off the all them drugs that they put me to sleep with.

So stop being modest about how much you did for me, that I will never be able to repay you for that....

You are also right about all the guys on this site that did give me the courage to keep fighting the pain and not do something stupid!!!

I know you don't drink but, Ill drink to all that. Thank you Brother. My plans to go to Virginia are still solid. Will make a stop in Monroe, LA to visit a friend and then drive to VA. Should be getting there Saturday 29th. I have never been in those parts so it will be a 1st time adventure for me. The way back will be south to Jacksonville to see my son and take a ride somewhere with him. Then I 10 west back home to Houston to recharge. Looking forward to meeting you and rest of the pack.
