What Hotel are most using? I saw the camp ground, was curious place others were using.

@UtilityKnife if you look in the first post, that is *cabins* and campsite, and most of us have reserved a cabin, some of which are characterized as "motel rooms" while others are more rustic.

Others may chime in. There are plenty of possibilities in the surrounding area if you're looking for something other than what Fancy Gap has to offer.

Try Mountain Top Motel @ Hwy 52 in Fancy Gap. It's at the intersection of 52 and the blue ridge pkwy. There is a Lake View Motel across the street. This looks no more than 10 minutes from the Fancy Gap Cabins. It looks nice, someone might want to trade you if that's where you stay.

Well, I booked a room in Hillsville, VA for Monday Night then leaving on Thursday morning heading back to Michigan. I'll be spending Sunday night in Maysville, KY and cruise the rest of the way down on Monday. It a long ways off, so my plans might change by then, but I'm going to try and make it this year. So far 1 bike & 1 rider unless one of my HD friends decides to tag along with a bike. Add me to the list for now.
