Head count for raa east 2018

Our very own Glen is pretty famous for showing up unexpectedly and also leaving the same way, but always great to see him and Lori.:D

Now with the widespread use of drones my entrance and departure will become even more circumspect and unpredictable. I fear that Lori's health issues may make it impossible for her to travel via motorcycle and my need to move rapidly at the drop of a hat would be immeasurably hampered. I fear public gatherings and I usually drop in to see a few of the down trodden old warriors of fame here and then disappear into the ethos from which I came. I won't presume to be there but if I do, no fanfare, no recognition, no, no, no. If I pull up short and message in, prepare to ride to an undetermined and undisclosed site of my choosing :) STB and Jay will know of my movements but they understand my loathing of groups. The last time I sat with y'all was in Maggie when I cooked for the group. That was probably the last time that I'll be seen in a group setting. It's true that I linger at the edge of the light cast by a bonfire, there one moment....gone the next. It's not a mystique that I intend to invoke. If you know me, you understand. I fear all of us corrupt our personal space and freedom's in the things we do. I try to preserve privacy even though I'm violated by Ebay and Amazon and Facebook to the point that I feel like a date in a maximum security penitentiary on Friday night. None of my meanderings and perceived mental disorder(s) are directed at anyone. Believe me that I respect and would not violate your trust, space, personal integrity if you have any for any reason or sum of money. Well, maybe a tank of fuel. My head is my house, I'm forced to live inside my head by the outside world but all of the rooms in this house are round so I can run and never get cornered in here :)

I agree. The numbers have dropped off since the first one I attended in Maggie Valley and I can't remember if it was RAA 5 or 6 and someone here has a picture from the roof of the Holiday Motel with Lupe' in it and the bikes in attendance lined up. I long for the good old days.

...and I'm out...

The dates conflict with Commencement weekend at the college where I teach. I'm required to dress up like it's Hogwarts and watch the students walk across the stage like innocent lemmings about to step of a cliff into the real world.

If their little heads are down looking for the graduation app, they won't notice the inflatable doll in your seat. RktnmyPkt would though. His nostrils flare at the first hint of unadulterated vinyl but he's probably not graduate material either. Glad I could help. See u in Stearns.

Never fails that about 15% bow out every time. Let's just pick a road side rest area, drink one beer, use the restrooms and ride off into our own sunsets.:)

Haha, I wish... it’s a small school that makes a big deal of it.
