9 hours ya but you can take the swift twisty roads down. I'll be staying in Norton for rhe night so I can cut across to ky thru Appalachia Virginia. Get pretty twisty on the western side of the range

I plan to make it in one day and arrive the 17th so I will probably stay the super slab for most of the way. I haven't made any rock solid plans on the route though...

Id join you all but Dave and I will be in the motel the Wednesday before. So we can get some extra riding in. I will either leave tuesday morning the 15th or maybe the Friday the 11th if I really want to take the long way

I would do that too, except pillion is still in school and it's pulling hen's teeth to get time off during the school year.

Maybe next year there will be a longer trip.
