Head count for raa east 2018

@RKTNMYPKT et al

You go to the link that @rainman posted (also here: www.PayPal.Me/rainman123, then an image appears on the screen with Jay's name, and a place to type in the amount.

IF you have a PayPal account, then next, under that is a button "CONTINUE" that takes you to the log-in for your PayPal account, and proceed as usual.

IF you do NOT/NOT have a PayPal account, and you go to the link Jay posted, you see the same image with Jay's name, and a place to enter the amount. In this case, however, instead of a "CONTINUE" butter there is a link labeled "Add payment method". Click on that, and it asks what credit card you want to use, and will charge extra to cover the credit fee -- 3.9%.

Hope that helps.

So you have to type in the link that he posted somewhere in your PayPal account? Or do you just click on the link?

Copy the link, go to the address bar of your browser, and in my case, I click "Paste and go"

In either case go to the link.

In the first case, THEN it takes you to your PayPal account.

In the second case, it requests you add a payment method.

Got it! That worked.
Unfortunately it does not give you the option of selecting friends or family though.

Money sent

@mexican They you handle the bikes, I don't believe that for a second.

In this case, it is just a matter of familiarity.

PayPal was started on the premise that folks who wanted to engage in e-commerce would be declaring that by having an account. What PayPal wants to be is the payment method for EVERYONE.

So now they are no longer worried about scaring people away with an account, they now have a new service which Jay happens to be using called "Pay.me".

So instead of typing R3Owners.net to log into this site, you type Pay.me to log into their site, and in this case, adding his name to it with the slash, just takes you directly to his "portal". How you pay is the next step after saying how much.

Well, re: friends and family, it really still works the same way.

Friends and family is another way of saying you're handing cash to someone standing next to you. And this site works the same way, *IF* you are tied to a bank account.

In either case, if you insist on using a credit card, you'll pay (someone pays) the fees.

I am technology challenged :(:(:confused:

@mexican
Type this into your address bar on your phone or computer, hit search or go.
It will take you directly to Jays PayPal portal
