Head count for raa east 2018

Looks like 40 bikes! Hell yeah. Got my windshield on yesterday. 4 inches of snow in driveway. that sucks

Glympse is an app available for download. When you want to share your location, typically you would go to Contacts, and select one or more folks, or you can direct add a cell number or email address. Then you set the maximum time you want to share with a rheostat-like control in the app. The intended recipient(s) receive said text or email that contains a link, which activated brings up a moving map on the recipient's display with your position centered and your current GPS speed. At any point you can extend the time back up to four hours or turn it off.

@Tripps @TO rocket @Bedifferent from where we are near Dulles Airport and 25 miles due west of the Washington Monument, we're looking at 558 miles and roughly nine hours.

If y'all look at your maps, and I-81 is included in your route, we could meet most anywhere.

I'd like to leave around day-break on that Thursday and that would put us in Stearns around 1500-1600, before we get to looking directly into the sun.

I use Glympse on my phone to allow folks who share their cell number to see my real-time location.

If this is too complicated as multiple variables often are, I'll just look to see you when we all arrive in Stearns.

I'll check, but sounds like a plan, 81 rings a bell, I want to get in before dark, too.

I-81 is one of the nicer roads heading south. When I cross the Mason-Dixon line I always feel like I'm really away from home and heading for another adventure.

I'll give it a look and check it out. Haven't looked at routes yet.

I setup the app my phone but after checking my route, I-81 is not in the mix. Looks like I'll be on I-75.
